AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
This source is an intensive study of land use in the village of Alisar. Detailed maps of the settlement area and surrounding crop and grazing lands are valuable additions to the text material. (These appear mostly on unnumbered pages at the end of the text and have been paginated as pp. 112-131. Photographs also appear as end figures on these pages.) This source is an original doctoral dissertation submitted to the University of Chicago in 1938.
