Information about the Siriono Indians

Zeitschrift für Ethnologie60Published In 1928 • Pages: 291-296

By: Radwan, Eduard, Coley, Kätchen.

Abstract
For many years, this was one of the most detailed accounts of the Siriono. Although it contains a brief description of their dress, utensils, and dwellings, its chief interest lies in its light on their contacts with missionaries. Although in the main, Holmberg, in his later and much more detailed study, corroborated Radwan's information, Radwan gives a few 'facts' on funeral customs not mentioned by Holmberg. Original illustrations (1-8) will be found in document 8: Radwan.
