Abstract
This report of the typhoon of March 29, 1907, which devastated the Woleai Island group, is composed of three sections. Pages 567-572 by Dr. Born, the government doctor stations at Jap, deal with his eyewitness account of the typhoon at Woleai and the adjustment of the natives to it. The second section, pp. 572-573, is the report of Captain Martens of the government schooner 'Ponape' which had left Dr. Born at Woleai and which was driven away by the typhoon. Section III, pp. 573-577, is the report of the district official Fritz, Saipan, April 15, of his trip to inspect the results of the typhoon and the government measures undertaken for the relief of the natives.
