Abstract
This document, which was originally published a chapter in an edited volume, discusses concepts of maturing and dying among the Enewetak people of Ujelang Atoll, Marshall Islands. It does so based on ethnographic information relating to cultural defined behaviors expected of Enewetak men and women as they undergo through childhood, adolescent, adulthood and old age stages.
