Abstract
In this source, Barton analyzes various aspects of Ifugao mythology. In Part I, he discusses the function of myth in Ifugao ritual, the form, style and literary attributes of the myth and the classification and affiliations of principal Ifugao myth motifs. Part II consists of the English texts of 30 Ifugao myths and TULUD along with synopses and notes for each. The Ifugao text of four of the myths is also included.
