AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
This resource is taken from the unpublished manuscripts of Edward H. Davis who visited the Seri of Tiburon Island to collect artefacts on the behalf of the Museum of the American Indian, Heye Foundation, New York. Edited for a public audience, this is an account of the daily life of a group of small Seri households including their travels and procurement of food. Davis was able to do so due to his local informant, Roberto Thomson.
