AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
This document expands upon the field studies of McGee and Davis & Dawson (also included within this collection) and the author does not re-examine the material or economic culture investigated by Davis & Dawson. The author focuses on the presentation of a small amount of new material alongside considerable discussion of McGee’s work as well as a comparative summary of Seri culture (as known in the 1920-30s). It can be considered an introduction to the Seri as it is both brief and general.
