Abstract
This source concerns change and stability in courtship, marriage, and family relationship patterns in Provo, Utah during the early twentieth century, using data drawn from personal interviews and mailed questionnaires. Topics covered include: dating patterns, engagement patterns, people's attitudes toward marriage, problems of marital adjustment, and descriptive statistics about the sample population. With sometimes sparse data, the author compares older and younger groups to make inferences about changes over time.
