Abstract
This is a history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, written by a non-Mormon. In an attempt to describe Mormonism as a religious movement the author delves into many of the underlying causative factors that have led to the development of the Church to date, including relations with the non-Mormon population. Additional information includes the Mormon religious worldview and how it has changed. The author points out particular problems and dilemmas that have affected the Mormon Church throughout the years of its growth.
