Abstract
This source deals with the prehistory of the area now occupied by the Havasupai. The author, an archaeologist, describes five periods of Havasupai and pre-Havasupai history tracing the connections between the Havasupai and the earlier Cohonina culture. The major features and changes of each period are noted and the influences from neighboring cultures briefly described.
