By: Joe, Jennie Rose.

Abstract
This is a discussion of Navajo treatment of severely disabled children based on a sample of 30 boys and girls. Joe discusses a few individual cases in depth. She found the children to be accepted by their extended families, treated the same as other children, and causing little disruption in family life.
