Abstract
Roessel, a native Navajo, has written an ethnographical autobiography. She writes from the traditionalist standpoint upholding the fundamental domestic values of Navajo women. She talks about her upbringing and other women in her life. Her faith is steadfast and unfailing giving a somewhat one-dimensional treatment of Navajo life in a modern world.
