Abstract
This article describes a site in the vicinity of Spider Rock Overlook in Canyon de Chelly where three groups of hogans, dated 1758, 1766, and 1770 respectively were found in 1941. Associated findings included glass beads (indicating trade relations with the Spanish), and painted pottery (which is still being made in the area today). Sheep bones were noticeably absent.
