In this brief article, Michelson discusses some points of agreement and disagreement between his own data on Arapaho kinship terminology and that presented by Kroeber. This source, then, should be used in conjunction with Kroeber (1902-1907, included in eHRAF). In addition, Michelson presents a few notes about kin relations, especially those in which joking and use of 'vulgar language' are acceptable patterns.
