Abstract
This book is a detailed ethnobotanical description of Iroquois food plants and foods. Waugh includes information on non-food plants as well as the non-food uses of some animal and mineral products. Some folkloric material is also included. Data for this source were gathered by Waugh among both the New York and Canadian Iroquois. The author also makes use of historical sources.
