Abstract
This source is a result of personal observation and information from native Ojibwa informants, presenting both factual information and consequent conclusions of the author, whose field work was sponsored by Columbia University. Especially stressed is the difference in training and social opportunity between men and women through a presentation of conditions surrounding childhood socialization, marriage, occupations, and the formation and role of both normal and deviant personalities.
