By: Jenness, Diamond.
Abstract
This is an excellent ethnography on the Copper Inuit. Jenness was a thorough ethnographer and his material is systematically presented. Jenness spent two years, 1914-1916, with the Copper Inuit, but for this volume and certain other reports of the Canadian Arctic Expedition which include comparative material from other Inuit groups, the wider date, 1913-1916, is used as the field work date.
