AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
This source consists of a single chapter drawn from Coxe's larger abstraction and translation of materials pertaining to Russian voyages to North America from 1711 to 1792. The chapter concerns Stephen Glottof's voyage to Kodiak and Umnak Islands in 1762-1766. The source contains some slight information on the material culture and the natural fauna of Kodiak and may be of some historical interest as an indication of Russian-Eskimo relations at the time.
