Aleutian islanders: Eskimos of the north Pacific

Chicago Natural History Museum[chicago]Published In 1944 • Pages:

By: Quimby, George Irving.

AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
A rather poor resumé of some of the published material on the Aleut. The source was included because it contains some line drawings based on specimens in the Chicago Natural History Museum and the United States National Museum and on photographs and engraving from other sources. These drawings, many of which are evidently reconstructions, should be used only in conjunction with material in this collection from other and better sources. Only those portions of the text which accompanied the drawings were included.
