Abstract
A description of harpoon heads contained in a collection of Aleut artifacts presented to the Chicago Natural History Museum by Lt. Alvin Cahn, U.S.N.R. The descriptions of the specimens are of some value, but the author's interpretation is not considered particularly useful. The specimens were bulldozed and no records kept and subsequent archaeological research has shown that the time-period classification of these items is erroneous. The illustrations and bibliography have not been reproduced for the files.
