AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
An excellent study of ancient and contemporary Aleut health and medical practices. The material on the early Aleut is based on early sources, but the analysis of contemporary Aleut health and diet is a result of physical examinations made by the author when he was in the Aleutians with the Harvard University Peabody Museum Aleutian expedition.
