Abstract
This paper represents an ethnographic approach to the description and analysis of the Serbian American family avoiding in the process purely quantitative measures in favor of cultural features that characterize the Serbian family embedded as it is in the matrix of American society. The author discusses family values, ethnicity, generational differences, and cultural assimilation.
