expand_more Description
The Fulani are a widely dispersed group of Muslim pastoralists and agro-pastoralists living across the Sahel of West Africa, from Senegal to Chad. The pastoral Fulani are organized into lineages and clans, and follow a seasonal north-south migratory pattern. They maintain a symbiotic relationship with their sedentary cousins, trading dairy products for grain.
