This study is concerned exclusively with Somali weather lore system. Using data furnished by a large number of weather lore experts, the author records and analyzes their beliefs. Included in their weather lore are beliefs concerning astrology, astronomy, meterology, the Somali calendar, holidays, and associated behavioral practices - primarily those concerned with Somali pastoral and agricultural life.
