Abstract
In this article Traill presents a survey of the similarities and differences of the languages spoken by the San of Namibia, Botswana, and southern Angola. These languages have been traditionally classified as belonging to the Khoisan language family. The author discusses the phonetic and grammatical structure of the language and variations between the various dialects.
