Abstract
Mr. Wilson, in this concise report, has described the land-tenure system of the Nyakyusa in its physical and social context. Of special interest is his description of the property rights in a polygynous family, the internal population movement and its effects upon the land-tenure rights of the new and former residents, and the legal and economic changes brought about by measures introduced by the British colonial administration.
