Abstract
This article provides a game warden’s perspective on Hadza ecology and subsistence. It finds the Hadza to be healthy-looking, and caring about the animals and plants on which they depend. Praising the Hadza’s observed equilibrium within the natural world, the author warns against the impacts of increasing incursions by non-Hadza hunters using more effective weapons.
