AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
This is a compilation of observations by colonial travelers and political officers, not trained anthropologists. Material is included on the Kagoma, Kagoro, Kaje, and Katab, mostly pertaining to the first two. The data are notably fragmentary and occasionally ambiguous, lacking thorough coverage of any of the subgroups. Nevertheless, there is much material not available elsewhere.
