Abstract
This volume describes the geography and history of all settlements in the area of the Jasenica River in the Sumadija. The population of 1923 came mainly from immigrants from the more southern parts of Serbia, Montenegro, and in a few cases Macedonia, who came to the Sumadija at the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th centuries. During these times, considerable internal migration took place. Drobnjakovic traces the origin of every individual extended family in each settlement and points out where the exist kin relations with other families.
