AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
This excellent study is focused upon Bhil social structure following the method of British social anthropology. Economy and religion are discussed in details relevant for understanding their interconnection to the social structure. Due consideration is paid to the time perspective by presenting historical material, and emphasizing changes due to modern influences by government agencies and the surrounding Hindu population.Explanations for footnotes appearing in the body of the text will be found at the end of each chapter.
