AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
Compiled by the author in conjunction with members of the Federal Research Division of the Library of Congress, this study presents a broad overview of Vietnamese ethnography from its early history (ca. 2879 B.C.) to approximately 1989, with a strong emphasis on the period of 1975-1989 during which time Vietnam, as a newly reunified nation struggled to develop a postwqr identity.
