Abstract
This article consists of two versions of a Lepcha legend concerning the building of a tower of pots to the sky. This legend parallels in many respects the story of the Tower of Babel. The author includes an explanation of the two versions. Included is a supplement on some archaeological potsherds from the field where the tower is supposed to have been built which may possibly be Lepcha material, although the Lepcha no longer make pottery.
