Abstract
This is another source presenting further evidence of the validity of the psychological theory of the incest taboo. The author presents statistical evidence comparing the major and minor forms of marriage regarding divorce, adultery, and the average number of children. The data show that women who marry a childhood associate bear fewer children, divorce more frequently, and are more often adulterous than those who marry strangers.
