AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
This is an account of a three week visit in Korea. The author spent one week in the village of Chemulpho and two weeks on Seoul. The account is cursory due to the brevity and purpose of the author's visit. On the whole, however, it is a valuable brief summary, particularly of the settlement patterns in Seoul, in view of (a) the early date of the research, and (b) the fact that the observations are first hand.
