Mourning and burial rites of Korea
Journal of the Anthropological Institute of Great Britian and Ireland • 25 • Published In 1896 • Pages: 340-361
By: Landis, E. B., Yi Youl Kok.
AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
Landis, a doctor associated with the Church of England Mission to Korea, acquired information on mourning and burial rites of Korea from one of the ministers of the then existent dynasty. This systematic description was collected and arranged by the minister, Yi Youl Kok. There is no evidence as to the date of research. On the whole this seems to be an adequate and very detailed analysis of mourning and burial rites
