Abstract
This is a study of the intra-familial relationships, consumption patterns, decision-making, work, and leisure of women living in a town on the Black Sea coast. The author discovers that women control family consumption patterns, act as important coordinators of family activities, and mediators in family disputes; all of which contribute to family quality of life.
