Abstract
This thesis consists of a text and translation of an Ifugao harvest song. The narrative is preceded by an introduction which consists of a summary of Ifugao culture and a brief description of Ifugao literature in general. Commentaries in the form of footnotes accompany the text. Where material to be categorized is found, these commentaries have been marked in brackets at the top left corner of the page. The text was gathered originally and translated by a school teacher of Ifugao in conjunction with the author's project for translating old Filipino oral literature. The author then made a verse translation of the narrative.
