Abstract
This source is divided into five parts as follows: Part I (pp. 1-167), Rice Culture and Rice Ritual; Part II (pp. 169-325), Marriage and Marriage Ritual; Part III (pp. 327-493), Death and Death Ritual; Part IV (pp. 495-711), Property and Property Ritual; Part V (pp. 713-754) Go-Betweens and Priests. Many case histories are given and much illustrative material is provided.
