Abstract
This book discusses Tiwi social organization through the life cycles of individual men and women. It does this by providing detailed exposition of social groups, marriage arrangments, puverty rites and funeral ceremonies in which culturally expected duties and obligations of men and women come to live. The book views Tiwi culture and soceity as fluid and flexible.
