This is a general ethnographic sketch of the tribes inhabiting the Kuhgalu region of Iran. Geographical and ethnic divisions of the tribes are indicated and data pertaining to social life and customs are supplied. The author was apparently associated with the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company in Iran at the time this article was written. No date of research is given but it is believed that the data were gathered sometime in 1946.
