Abstract
This is a popularized account of Bororo death practices taken from the onset of death to the final deposition of the cleaned bones in their permanent grave. The author describes in some detail the various ceremonial dances and rituals associated with Bororo death customs, and illustrates many of these aspects with excellent photographs.
