Southern Ge speeaking cultures are found in the southern Brazilian states of São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, and (northern) Rio Grande do Sul. The extinct Guayana were ancestral to the Kaingang (not to be confused with the Carib speaking Wayana [Oyana, see SR12 Rucuyen]).
