By: Barrett, S. A. (Samuel Alfred).
Abstract
This material centers primarily on the Pomo religious ceremonies. Since many of the older, traditional ceremonies were no longer practiced, or else had become so acculturated through contacts with the whites and neighboring tribes, the author had to obtain much of his information from the older Pomo generation, many of whom had actually participated in these ceremonies at one time or another.
