Abstract
This paper deals primarily with the developmental linguistic pattern of Arabic-English bililngual preschoolers and discusses the language use of their families and the parents' attitudes toward bilingualism (p. 79). The study was based on the investigation of 28 Arab immigrant families in Buffalo, New York, with a primary focus on 30 children who belonged to these families. Information was collected by means of taped interviews and the personal observations of the author over a period of two years.
