Abstract
This is essentially a study of Cuban American economic development in Miami, Florida following the major influx of Cuban refugees to the United States during the 1960s to 1980s.The author highlights several Cuban entrepreneural enterprises in the Miami area, and discusses their origins, managerial personnel, sources of investment capital, growth, and labor policies. There is also some discussion in this work on the attitudes of the Cuban exiles toward the Castro government, and on Cuban American right-wing politics.
