This is an account of the Assiniboine Horse Medicine Cult (see article on Bear Cult, document no. 8.) Ewers discusses its history, leadership, membership, lodge, dances, and associated rituals, taboos, and medicines. He also compares it to the cult of the Blackfoot from whom the Assiniboine acquired it.
