Plants on the Aleutian Islands

Aleutian islands : their people and natural history : (with keys for the identification of the birds and plants) by Henry B. Collins, Jr., Austin H. Clark, Egbert H. Walker (21)Published In 1945 • Pages: 63-71

By: Walker, Egbert H. (Egbert Hamilton).

Abstract
A short but excellent survey of Aleutian flora with a list of plants extracted from Hultín, “Flora of the Aleutian Islands and Westernmost Alaska Peninsula with Notes on the Flora of Commander Islands.” Mr. Walker evidently did no field work, but bases his study on the field work of other botanists, primarily Hultín. In processing, the detailed descriptions, the illustrations and the lists of plant life have been omitted. This is the third article in a Smithsonian Institute study of the Aleutians. The bibliography for the whole study is included with the first article, 25: Collins.
