AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
A translation of a French work, this is one of the earliest accounts of the Wolof. As might be expected, the author gives only a cursory description of the native houses, physical traits, clothing, food, etiquette, and agriculture as seen by a traveler two centuries ago.
