Abstract
This article is a brief synthesis of Nkundu social organization. Phases of the culture touched upon include the patriarchal 'clan,' kinship terminology, and relationships, the property system, exogamy, and kin relationships with the maternal clan and other clans. Material on what Boelaert calls 'clans' has been placed in category 613 Lineages. Boelaert is a Belgian ethnologist who has worked in the Congo for many years.
