This source is a detailed study of the behavior and inter-individual relationships among goats in Turkana herds. Specifically, the author examines the proximity of young goats to their mothers, the familiarity of goats with one another within herds, the formation of large groups of goats within herds, herders' behavior, and goats' learned ability to move autonomously during herding.
